Contents | The course program will be entirely focused on the very close relationships that, especially during the twentieth century, have been establishing between fashion and the media universe as a whole. Specifically, we will focus on the interpenetrations that it has entertained and continues to entertain with contemporary art, music, cinema, photography and television. The languages of fashion, precisely as a result of these interpenetrations, have undergone the fascination of the media and have started a process of recoding that has led to a total rethinking of the entire structures of fashion itself. Starting from these premises, the aim of the course will be to offer students a broad and in-depth knowledge of the forms, genres and languages that characterize the mutual relationship between fashion and the media. |
